Double Date III

Superb Fairy-wrens are a common and a well-know Australian little bird. The male wren has a distinctive sky-blue crown, ear coverts and upper back. Females and young birds are brown with a dull red-orange area around the eye. The tiny birds dart around and feeding often takes place in small social groups. These Superb Fairy-wrens are having a little rest and social moment on a back gate.
